Beach Butler(TM) Lets Guests Page for Food Service from the Beach or Pool
DALLAS, July 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Long Range Systems (LRS) introduces the unique Beach Butler(TM) push-for-service paging system. Lying on the beach or sunbathing by the pool, guests should never have to get up to order food and drinks. With Beach Butler, they won't have to. This unique system lets relaxing guests tell servers they are ready to order drinks or food by simply pressing a button.
"Beach Butler is the only product of its kind in the world," explains Jim Livingston, vice president of sales at LRS. "Perfect for any hotel and resort with beach or poolside service, it helps sell more food and drinks by giving guests the convenience of on-demand service."
Beach Butler is simple to use. When a guest is ready to order, they just press a button and it instantly sends a silent page to a server wearing an LRS alphanumeric pager. Using silent paging eliminates disruptive overhead paging so guests can relax. A message on the alphanumeric pager lets the server know exactly where the guest is sitting so they can serve them right away.
The unit is 100 percent weatherproof and tamper-resistant. It's made of heavy-duty lexan plastic so it can be used anywhere -- indoors or outdoors. It measures 14.5" x 3" x 1.75" and attaches to any umbrella or lounge chair. Guests can use it to contact staff members when they need help or service. Staff members can use it to contact each other when they need assistance. It has a paging range of one-quarter mile, so it will reach servers no matter where they are.
Another version of this system, called the Butler XP(TM), is also available for non-beach and poolside applications in other markets.
