'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition' shoots an Oregon premiere this week, giving

The Oregon premiere shooting of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, started on July 7. Construction, July 9 - July 14, will give Jenessa Nichole Byers and her family the home of their dreams. Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, which has won back-to-back Emmy Awards, will have their builders and designers working with Oregon builder Legend Homes and other hundreds of other local volunteer contractors, subcontractors and vendors who have donated time and materials. The Byers Home is being made over at 851 NE Granger Road in Corvallis, Ore. Media are strongly encouraged to call one of the contacts listed below before coming to the building site. Monday 7/9:

7:30 am to 10:30 am: Braveheart Rush and introduction to the project by Jim Chapman, president Legend Homes, Mike Goodrich, vice president and general manager of Legend Homes Corvallis communities. They will lead an all-in-blue t-shirt parade of hundreds of contractors and subcontractors and other volunteers to the construction site.
